![]() Red Baron - Night Witches, but with 70s synths! Wow!ħ. Devil Dogs - Smoking Snakes with some Aces In Exile in there.Ħ. The solo sounds like it comes from Megadeth's song Countdown To Extinction though.ĥ. Not sure if it's taking pieces or not tbh. The Attack Of The Dead Men - this one feels kinda new actually. Seven Pillars Of Wisdom - the riff, verses, and chorus are straight from White Death, while the solo and pre-chorus smack of Metal CrueĤ. ![]() The Future Of Warfare - the verses are basically StalingradĢ. All in all, I like it more than the last album so far.ġ. Anyways whatever the next album is I hope they step it up a bit. Seven Pillars of Wisdom was so blatantly obvious that it’s kind of painful. The album is just too safe and they just end up playing the same songs. In conclusion, I still stand by my earlier statements that Sabaton needs to step out of their comfort zone and write some longer tracks that have a slight degree of complexity. It’s out of their comfort zone and it works very well. The End of the War to End All Wars is the best song. In fact, after this song the album is actually quite good. The Red Baron reminds me of Night Witches a bit. Devil Dogs is literally Smoking Snakes but with Marines. Attack of the Dead Men is a bit different, not very bad either. Seven Pillars of Wisdom is literally a rehashed version of White Death. ![]()
